I tried this from a local store and for the price, it is pretty decent. i like the way it makes your lips tingle and feel fresh. I have been on the quest for the perfect lip balm ever and this comes in a close second, first being the Neutrogena Moisture lip balm. I buy the Natural Ice for the kids due to the price difference. I find it on the waxy side, but that is because I am spoiled with the Neutrogena. THe negative I have found with Neutrogena is the price, it is about 2.99 a stick. I just dont want to spend that on the kids to lose. If you want the perfect lip balm for yourself I highly reccomend the Neutrogena.

For some reason I cannot find this Lip Balm in my area. When I would travel and find some I would buy several packages. When I found this online I bought a box and keep my supply up.

Mentholatum natural ice is my favorite chapstick, soothing and with sunscreen too. It really helps my sensitive lips.

I've been using this product for 10 years! I think that speaks for itself...but I'll point out a few things:
I have EXTREMELY sensitive lips. They'd always get sunburnt & wind-chapped during the winter, & even the most expensive hypo-allergenic lip cosmetics would cause a reaction -- resulting in painfully swollen lips with difficulty eating, drinking, & talking for days. I tried ALL sorts of "soothing" & medicated lip balms, but NONE of them worked. Natural Ice completely soothed my irritated lips, AND protected them from future problems. I've never had sunburnt or wind-chapped lips since then! And if I have an allergic reaction to lipstick (which hardly happens anymore - due to this product? maybe...), as long as I take it off & apply Natural Ice right away, it will disappear shortly.
I'm not a fan of flavored balms. Natural Ice has no minty flavor, which I was worried about. The menthol is purely "experienced" & not tasted.
Unfortunately stores in my area stopped carrying Natural Ice a few years ago, so I turned to the internet. The price is quite worth it! I've got the box of 12, & keep one everywhere: bathroom, bedside table, vanity table, pockets of sweaters & jackets, in purses/wallets. I don't think I'll have to order another box until next year.

I used to buy this lip balm for my kids because they used to eat the flavored kind. Then, we noticed that nobody was getting cold sores, something my stepdaughter used to get often. This is absolutely the best lip balm ever! It doesn't melt in the dryer, if it's accidentally washed and dried. But, the best thing about Mentholatum Lip Balm is that it really works, and it works well. Too bad it's not made anymore. If I had known it was going to be taken off the market, I would have stocked up!
