Obi-wan and ASN droid
February 19, 2007
While looking for cool Star Wars action figures, I found this pair. It looked really good (especially the droid), so, of course, I bought it. It's okay, but the problem is that Obi-wan's arms and legs are not jointed at the knees, elbows,or at the bases of the legs. All you can move is his head, his waist, and his shoulders. The droid is cool. I would get a different Obi-wan, unless you really like the droid.
THIS IS REALLY COOL AND GREAT!

This toy is really cool. The droid that comes with it has a magnet attached to it so Obi-Wan can hold on to it because he has a magnet attached to him too. Why I like it is because the magnet works really good. Once I put the Anakin Skywalker (Tatoonie attack) and him in front of Obi-Wan's metal lightsaber and Obi-Wan got it. And the Obi-Wan is the only Star Wars guy that can hang on good to the droid, out of all them that we have. Another cool thing about it is the lightsaber blade comes off. If only it had a magnet on its belt, then it would my favorite. But it still is one of my favorites. The part in the movie is cool too.
Obi-wan, the second figure I got is still a fav.

I got this before the movie came out. It was the second figure I ever recieved in the wave of figures to come. Actually, it's sorta tied in first I geuss. My first pick was Jango Fett Kamino Escape. I was ready to leave when I found him. I snatched him too. I checked my wallet and saw enough for one more figure ;). I finally settled on getting a Clone Trooper. Oops, back to Obi-wan. A fantastic figure with the best magnet out of all of my 60 some figures. He hangs of the droid (which is really cool too) perfectly. The only downside is the darn lightsaber. It broke after only a couple of weeks. Sigh. The store was out when I tried to switch for a new one, so I kept him. Later, I got an Obi-wan Jedi Starfighter pilot, so I usually use that lightsaber (This Obi-wan is twice as good as the pilot one). Anyway, buy this guy if you can still find him at your local Wal-Mart or go to the internet. As long as you can keep his lightsaber safe, you will really enjoy this figure.
GO OBI-WAN KENOBI !

THIS IS THE FIRST STAR WARS FIGURE I GOT. I'M NOT OBI-WANS BIGGEST FAN, BUT I LIKE IT. THE LIGHTSABER BLADE BENT AT THE PART WERE IT ATACHES TO THE HANDLE. THAT WAS A REAL BUMMER TO ME BECAUSE I WAS HAVING SUCH FUN. IF IT WASN'T BENT, I'D HAVE THE TIME OF MY LIFE.
A good figure

Ewan MacGregor's portrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the highlights of the prequel trilogy. This figure is lacking, however, chiefly in the head sculpt of the figure. The face looks nothing like MacGregor, and the hair color is incorrect as well. The assassin droid accessory is not needed, but the lightsaber is very well done. With a removeable blade, and a metal hilt that is attracted to the magnet in Kenobi's hand, the lightsaber is one of the highlights of the toy. I hope that Hasbro releases another version with better sculpting, coloring, and articulation.
