shaft with a lightsaber

this figure is pretty sweet. he comes with his purple lightsaber which i think looks cool. it took me awhile to find this figure and i finally got him. if you see this figure pick it up because he is very rare. i recommend this toy to any star wars fan.

This Mace Windu figure is REALLY COOL!!! He is loads of fun and is pretty durable. His only durability problem, in fact, is that the plastic purple part of his lightsaber bends so much you would think that it would break. He can, contrary to what some people have said, hold his lightsaber in both hands. The magnetism on his hand is ok, but it comes of pretty easily. As a matter of fact, at first, I was a little disappointed in how well he held his lightsaber. But then, a miracle happened: I found a little notch in his right hand, in the part of his cloak on his hand, and the butt of his lightsaber fits very nicely into it. As a matter of fact, just about the only way to get it out is by purposely taking it out with your fingers. Anyway, the educational value is pretty low. As a matter of fact, I didn't even learn anything, except that Mace Windu's lightsaber is purple, which I already knew. I hope this review has helped. Thank you for your time.

Far too Shabby!

I bought Mace because, well, I think he's really cool. But
from the aotc toys that I own, he is by far the worst.
Mace is positioned in a stiff pose that is cool, but you can't
really have any fun playing with him. His eyes are closed and his
mouth is wide open and I find this very hard to play with.
(unless it is a death scene or when he gets really mad)
He does come with an amazing lightsaber that has a magnetic
attration to his hand to re-anact force power. I find that his
lightsaber falls out of his hand without much presure and this
makes for for some pretty frustrating battles....
Overall I would not recommend this toy, unless your obsessed
with the Geonosis Rescue, and love to re-anact it.

Way better than the EpI Mace Windu figure

As with the Jango Fett Final Battle figure, I was leery about buying this figure, since I already had a Mace figure. I don't regret finding this one along with Jango. Mace is an improvement over the EpI version. He sports a battle stance and a lightsaber slashing attack that delivers a fatal slicing off of Jango's head, which you can re-enact that scene on Geonosis with these two figures. Mace also comes with his, which I still don't understand Sam's choice in lightsaber color, purple lightsaber. The blade is detachtable from the handle, too. What I like about this figure is its facial expression of pure rage. Its mouth is wide open and his eyes are closed, and it looks EXACTLY like the great actor himself, Samuel L Jackson!! In all the other reviews I've read, people have complained about the fact that his lightsbaer flies out of his magnetic hand when the saber slashing feature is executed. There is a nifty little hole in his right sleeve so the EXTRA LONG lightsaber handle can fit in the hole and rest in his open hand. How cool is that!? Very hard to find figure, so if you see it, don't pass up the opportuntity in owning such a great figure.
