Didn't Work For My Son   November 24, 2008
I had great hopes for this product. The majority of the reviews seemed positive. I started my 5 year old on them. The first problem is the size of the pills. They are huge. He refused to swallow them so I had to mix them up in applesauce 2 times a day. He was also taking the Extress with it. So he was taking two in the morning and two in the evening. I didn't notice any changes until 2 1/2 weeks into it. His symptoms of hyperactivity worsened. He was off the charts. I figured I would give it a little more time to see if it would go away. Well, after 27 days I had to give up. He was still more hyperactive then he had ever been. Several teachers from his school were sending home disciplinary notes. They even noticed the difference. I wish I could say this worked for me because this was our last resort before medication. I have tried so many different things and nothing has worked for my son. I hope this helps someone else.

Amazing at last something that really works! My son went from doing terrible in school to receiving an outstanding achievement certificate in the 3wks he has been taking Attend! His teachers are amazed at his improvement. We had to look into alternatives seens how stimulates made him Legally blind and Off them he can see. Not to mention stimulants made him lose way too much weight and he couldn't sleep at night. We have tried all sorts of products and diets including the Feingold diet non which worked. This product has been a God sent for us and has really made a difference for my son.

I did not see any change in my son's behavior or attention improvement.It might be a good product but not for him.

My 8 yr old son has been taking Attend for 5 weeks and the improvement has been amazing. He can not swallow the capsules, so we open them and pour the powder onto a teaspoon of honey. It tastes pretty terrible, so we always have a drink close by to wash it down. He started with 1 capsule in the morning and 1 after school, but 2 weeks ago we switched to 2 capsules in the morning, none after school, and that seems to work best for him.

He has also been on a low sugar diet for the past 5 weeks, has been getting more sleep, takes 1000 mg of Omega-3 Fish Oil, and he has a different teacher. I assumed that the difference in his behavior and attitude was a combination of everything, but now I know for sure that the biggest factor is the Attend.

He was off of Attend for 3 days - we just forgot it over the weekend and again on Mon. Monday afternoon, when I asked him to start his homework, my old complaining, defeated, fidgety, unfocused and noisy child had suddenly reappeared. We struggled through 45 mins of work that he had zipped through last week. He couldn't sit still, focus on what he was reading, or stop himself from making sounds (tapping the pencil, humming, clicking his tongue, etc).

When I said that he had forgotten to take his vitamins for the last 3 days, my husband, son and I all looked at one another in disbelief. I asked him to talk about how he felt about his homework the past few weeks and how he felt that night. He said, "When I take my vitamins, I feel like my school work is easy ... but when I don't take them, I feel like I just can't do the work."

I am so glad that we tried Attend before putting my child on prescription medication for ADHD. There have been no side effects - just an amazing positive change in his ability to focus and stay on task. It has totally exceeded my expectations.

This medicine did not help at all. I did not see a bit of difference in my sons behavior. It did not help him concentrate more at all. I would not recommend this medicine. I wanted to try it since it was a homeopathic medicine and there were no harmful chemicals in this, but it did not help at all. I absolutely refuse to put my son on medication for his ADHD, so I thought I would try this since there were no harmful side effects and it was all natural ingredients, but it did not help at all.
