Editorial/Description:

Product Description: In development for over two years, Bibble 4.9 is the result of exhaustive research into how the professional photographer wants to work and how existing tools are not meeting needs. Bibble is geared towards making your workflow as fast and efficient as possible. At its core, Bibble features a proprietary image pipeline that yields accurate color through custom profiles and delivers blazing speed through platform specific optimizations. Based on over four years of experience, our image processing algorithms consistently deliver the most detailed, artifact-free raw conversions available. In today s rapidly changing digital environment we also know that many photographers frequently have to deal with images from a variety of cameras and sources. Further adding to the mix is the need to process these images using disparate computer hardware on tight deadlines. Bibble 4 helps resolve this dilemma by providing support for all the most popular cameras and consistent editing tools and processing speed on all supported platforms (Windows, OS X, and Linux). Customer Reviews:

New version on the way (1 of 2 Found this Helpful)   October 16, 2008
Please note that only version 4.10 (not 4.9) includes a free upgrade to the new Bibble Pro version 5. This is a major upgrade of Bibble Pro.

nice program, abominable customer service   September 19, 2008
I love the program. It makes photoshop almost unnecessary for a lot of my photos and it's very fast because you don't have to keep opening and saving. It's easy to copy settings from one photo to another. HOWEVER, I cannot get any minor problems addressed by the company. I waited 10 days for them to respond to an email about an installation issue, and they only responded because I threatened to start writing reviews. I am now waiting 4 days for a followup. I can't get into their forums because they won't recognize me as a customer so I can't get advice that way. I also find the interface confusing but I'm hoping they fix that in version 5. In the meantime, unless you're confident you can figure anything out on your own, BEWARE.

Gret Product But Needs An Update To Accept TIF Files As Input (1 of 1 Found this Helpful)   August 8, 2008
I use Nikon Capture NX to 1.34 AUTOMATICALLY remove chromatic abberation from from the raw Nikon .nef files. They are saved as 16 bit TIF files.
However Bibble Pro 4 cannot read TIF files, but ironically it can save as TIF files.
I'm still buying this program shortly as Bibble 5 is expected to be able to read 16 bit TIF files, and will be a free upgrade. Bibble 5 will cost more too.
I love its AUTOMATED Perfectly Clear feature and its tight integration to Noise Ninja - all run in batch mode. This work flow produces the best picture quality with the least fuss.

Tethering ? (5 of 5 Found this Helpful)   May 6, 2008
I purchased Bibble Pro in hopes it would make taking product shots for our mail order business a little easier. I was mainly interested in the tethering option. I found the provided instruction manual lacks all information on tethering and the tutorials, although helpful did not cover this ether.
With the help of online fourms and a few hours of dabbling I was able to get it to work. It's not hard to do once you get the needed help. It seems to me the manual should have addressed tethering, that would have been helpful.

Over all I like the program and would recommend it for easy to use and powerful batch processing. After getting Bibble I started shooting in RAW full time because it's easy to view, correct, and convert to jpg, tiff , ect...
After a couple of product shot sessions I'm finding I do save time with Bibble Pro tethered to my Nikon D80, I wouldn't give it up. The basic tools are easy to use and work well.

Good..but the same as Bibble Light, unless you are batch processing. With a hefty additional price tag
