Handy Store

My wife needed a secure storage for her side-arm while at work. She is a Correctional Officer and her firearm had to be secured in a locked container in her vehicle. I could'nt find a place to bolt a box in her truck where she could have easy access. Now with the "Secure-It", she is able to secure and access her firearm with ease. That's what I'm talking about.

Wow! What a great concept..Easy to use, easy to hide on a bookshelf, under the mattress. With a cable inside to attach to a staionary object to help prevent theft! No one but you is getting in. :)
Perfect for it's purpose(s)

For me this item fills the bill for two areas for which I needed help. 1. It prevents a quick or discreet snatch of my firearm or credit cards/wallet from my car while it is unattended, in for service, parked at night, etc. 2. It adds one more layer of defense from a child gaining access to my firearm. $30 is cheap for a good nights sleep. Also, I have used it when traveling to lock up my wallet in the room to keep the maids from skimming and it does happen more often than you think.
I won't give warnings because we are all adults but obviously it nor anything else will prevent a determined thief that has ample time but most are too lazy or else they'd have jobs. And most any kid over 5 or so can open it if they had a key. However, I keep my car locked and don't allow my kids or anyone else access to the car without me. I don't allow anyone access to my keys either which are in two different places. But even if I forget to lock the car which I don't then I have a little more peace of mind knowing that I have yet another layer of protection against accidents.
Nice safe!

Don't let the simplicity of this safe fool you. It's very strong and secure. My Glock 30 fits perfectly in it. The cable that comes with it is very strong as well BUT can get in the way when retrieving the safe under the car seat. Instead of looping the cable on itself around the seat frame, I recommend bolting it down through the cables eye loop on one end WITH the seat frame support bolt. Secure any loose wiring out of the way under the car seat as the cable WILL get tangled in it. MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you're licensed to carry, due just that...Carry! If you leave your gun in the car safe ALL the time than you should just leave it at home.
Nice little safe.

This is a nice little safe, exactly what I was looking for. Although the name "safe" may be a little misleading. There is no protection from fire, but offers good protection against the "smash & grab" crimes of the day.
