This pen is a perfect match to the Rite in Rain paper. Definitely is worth purchasing.

I loved this pen. I tried it in my Rite-in-the-Rain journal... beautiful. I tried it outside in a drizzle...beautiful. Tried it lying down, writing upside down, and again....beautiful. And then my son apparently wanted to try it, too. At school. It never came back home....not beautiful, not beautiful at all! So, now I will buy another, and this time, no sharing!

My son took this along with the weather proof paper and journal with him on a NOLS semester and it was fantastic - never let him down - despite the heat, rain and even snow.
