Universal Remote - CHECK!

So the Playstation3 has built-in Bluetooth, which is nice and you can allways get the custom remote - but if you want to use a universal remote that has IR-only, buy this, plug the USB stick into the PS3 and the IR can now work on the universal. I use the Sony RM-AV3000 Universal LEARNING remote, so this was a breeze.

Cutting to the chase, the actual remote that comes with the product is pretty poor quality. That's because most people buy this to use the USB controller with a universal remote and plan to toss the actual remote. If you're looking to use a universal remote with your PS3, this is a great option. If you're just looking for a Blu-ray/DVD remote, look elsewhere.

I bough this remote so I can then program my universal remote to control movie playback of the Playstation 3. This works because of the USB infra-red receiver that is included. Highly recommended for those universal remote owners (especially Logitech owners) that prefer to control the Playstation 3's movie playback with their remotes.

PlayStation 3 Blu Wave Remote
Great price for a remote for the PS3 but I do not like the problem with my game controllers not being first all the time. When I power up the system the remote takes over slot 1 when I have the USB adapter inserted. I bought this so I could use a Universal Remote with the PS3 since originally it is Blutooth controlled. I recommend this product for you but if someone wants to buy mine let me know.

There are so many reviews, that there is need to give more description of this remote. It's just what i need. Still have to configure my Logitech Harmony remote with it, but otherwise - it's solid, looks good, works lie it's supposed to. Absence of power or PS buttons does not bother me at all.
