somthing to know about having a new filter

When I installed the new filter I didn't realize that we would go through a period where the water tasted "funny", at least that's how my wife described it. It took about a week for the taste of the water to return to normal. That was the only thing that I didn't realize when I replaced the filter. Besides that it worked fine.

This was exactly as advertised and what I needed. Changing it was a breeze. It also comes with a reminder to let you know about when you will need to replace filter again. Was delivered quickly!

I ordered this on amazon.com because it was about $5 cheaper than ordering from Whirlpool. It was easy to install and worked perfectly with my fridge. Very happy!

I am not impressed with this having been my first time purchasing a water filter via the internet, versus a retail location. The water does have a taste that I have not noticed in the past with store bought filters. Although the price was catching, I will continue to do business in stores rather than the internet.

Swapped out the filters easily. Started working immediately. Our children even commented on the improved taste.
