My son LOVES this movie
September 22, 2008
We bought this shortly after seeing it on TV when it first came out, at that time my son was about to turn 3. Since then he has learned all the words to the movie, every word to every song and most of the "dance moves." Its a great way to distract him on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when I need to get some work done around the house. It has also come in handy as a way to keep him happy on long plane rides. I think that any kids who likes the Backyardigans would enjoy this movie, but it might be a bit more "boy" with the Knights and dragons.
Knight Zachary LOVES this!!!

This is the ABSOLUTE cutest movie. My son is 2, and has just fallen in love with-not only this show-but with the whole knight/shield/sword thing. We have so much fun watching this together, and when we have company over and put it on...no one can believe how he acts out every scene. He loves the little egg, and begs me for real eggs in our refrigerator. This movie is a MUST SEE if your little one is a backyardigan fan!!!!!!!!

My three year old niece absolutely loves this movie. She acts out and sings all the songs right along with the dvd. She loves it so much that we are taking her to see the live stage show.

A Winner!

I bought the Tale of the Mighty Knights after seeing the episode with my daughter on TV. For those of you who like to see all five Backyardigans characters in episodes, this is the DVD to buy! The Mighty Knights episode has some pretty catchy rock music, but the Blazing Paddles episode's music is still stuck in my head (and it's a good thing). The last episode, Garbage Trek, will tickle the funny bone of anyone who's seen or will admit to having watched Star Trek for the clever similarities. A winner with all 3 episodes with characters, stories, and music.
Awesome!

This is a great episode and the DVD includes Garbage Trek, and Blazing Saddles. My son loves them all. My only knock on the DVD is that it doesn't have chapters, and you can't skip straight to the menu, instead being forced to skip through all the nickjr ads which can be a bit time consuming when you have a screaming child who wants his uniqua fix. All the Nickelodeon/Noggin DVDs are like this and it's a bit of overkill. Surely there is enough marketing of these products that they could let slide the option to skip straight to the stories.
