KING OF KINGS
October 29, 2008
The cover is insulting and ridiculous. The guy is just a professional wrestler, not a God. What makes him so great? He books himself to win and even has to use a sledgehammer to beat people. How pathetic!
GREAT DVD MISSES ON SOME NOTES THOUGH

This DVD did impress me on alot of points. Triple H is one of my favorites of all time and watching his documentary of his real life story timeline was great to see. I did however wish there were more of his MORE notable matches, A.K.A More of the SHawn Michaels feud, the DX rebirth, His involvement in the Montreal screwjob. They touch alot of the points but just went into the matches. they didnt alow Triple H to really talk alot which i thought was kinda silly. They did it 100% right with the Shawn Michaels DVD 3 disc set disc one being the biography and the other 2 being greatest matches. personally i liked that more. Great DVD though Worth the money
Good but defiantly could have been Great

Triple H is known by many things, The Game, King of Kings, the Cerebral Assasian, and the 12 time world champion. Triple H is a former WWE champion, Intercontinental, European, Tag team, king of the ring, and royal rumble winner. Triple H is also a grand slam winner. This dvd is a good way to see the early days of the game but more could have been added.
Disc 1
This first disc is the best of the two. Triple H begins talking on where he began wrestling and who trained him. His days in WCW is briefly touched on and then coming to the WWE with the royalty gimmick. Describes how he really found his style while wrestling with Marc Mero. Winning the King of the Ring. Meeting Chyna and forming DX with her and Shawn Michaels. Finally breaking away from DX and becoming "The Game". Winning the WWE title and starting the McMahon/Hemsley era with his feud against Mick Foley. His quadricept injury in 2001 and coming back and winning the Royal Rumble.

Not as Advertised...
August 10, 2008
...as far as I can recall. I could've sworn the ads talked about interviews with other wrestlers, and they even played audio from these other wrestlers and showed clips of them being interviewed about the Game.
Besides that, I was also hoping for a couple bigger, or even more recent, matches. Finally, I like more interviews, more stories. Perfect examples of the format I enjoy are the Road Warriors and new HBK DVDs. For the moderate Triple H fan like myself, that would've been perfect, but that's not what you get here. For a huge Triple H fan, this is great stuff.
That said, I still enjoyed this, although I skipped the disc 2 matches not so much for the selection but, like I said, for the interviews.
