Kristin Davis, as Charlotte, has quietly become the most gorgeous among the beauties, her sleek presence both winsome and sophisticated. And Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) shows nuance as a woman torn between betrayal and grudging hope. Supporting roles include Candice Bergen as the Vogue editor who anoints Carrie "The Last Single Girl in New York," and Jennifer Hudson, as a starry-eyed, ambitious romantic who represents the new generation of SATC women. Through it all, New York is a benevolent cocoon that envelopes and nurtures the women and their friendships and careers. Loved the Series, Loved the Movie November 30, 2008
I loved the series and I have all of them on DVD and still watch them quite often, so I was very excited when I saw the movie was coming out. I rushed to get the DVD and I will watch it when I want to have a day of watching Sex and the City, the series and the movie. I hope they make another movie to follow this one.

Sex and the City - The Movie (Widescreen Edition) I didn't expect to like this movie and was pleasantly surprised. It had all the same emotion and fun of the TV series. The stars remained true to the characters they had created for television and we watched them grow into their new lives and still remaining best friends. The men in their lives understood this sisterhood and embrassed it, therefore becoming integral to these women. All said I have watched this movie three or four times so far and all of my girl friends have equally enjoyed it. Give it a 4 star, hands down.

Perfect for the ones who have followed the seasons, but a little racy for the kids. Loved every minute of it.

I saw the original movie while in the theaters, and then saw the Special Edition on DVD. I loved the movie either way it was viewed; however, I can say I enjoyed the Special Edition a little more because of the extra scenes that gave more to the movie.
